NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island

Northeastern North Carolina is home to one of the major wintering waterfowl areas on the east coast of the United States. After an indoor presentation at the Aquarium, we will explore areas in and around the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge to identify ducks, swans, geese and other species, and discuss issues involving these well-traveled birds. There is no charge for this workshop, and it is open to the general public ages 16 and up. This class will qualify for NCOEE Criteria II credit.
