Join Sea Monster Specialist E.M. Corsa as she helps you pick your favorite animals then work on designs and turn them into sea monsters! The fun begins as we add fins, tails, spikes, horns, spouts and other elements befitting your sea monster. This workshop is designed for parent and child. Suggested ages 8 and up.

Instructor will bring a variety of reproduced, antique maps of our coastline from her collection, all published in the 1800s. Each student can select 2 to 3 maps depending upon class size. Maps will be roughly 8 by 10 inches. (Map fee is $10)

Students are to bring any type of drawing tools they like but no wet mediums. In other words, no paints. Instead we’ll use markers, pens, pencils, etc. And I’ll bring an assortment of tools to share also. Students should also bring a sketchpad to work out preliminary designs, as well as some pictures of animals they want to turn into monsters.
Class will run approximately 2 – 3 hours with a short break in the middle.

Cost is $45.00 for non-members, $40.00 for members for each parent/child pair. Register online at https://form.jotform.com/73477508062157,
