“Bertie African Americans in North Carolina State Reconstruction Politics,” is the theme for Historic Hope Foundation’s 25th Anniversary African American Celebration.

Earl iJames, Curator, North Carolina Museum of History, is the Keynote Speaker for the two-session symposium on “ Republicans from Reconstruction to Redemption.” iJames is a board member of the North Carolina Freedom Monument Commission, North Carolina Civil War Sesquicentennial Committee, and Preservation North Carolina.

Registration is only $15 and begins at 9:30 am on Saturday, February 10th. This includes a continental breakfast and lunch. The program will run from 10 am until 1 pm.
